As a founding member of the Three Little Birds charity I wanted to create a modern inclusive community led organisation. The volunteers within the charity set an unparalleled standard which breaks the mould of a traditional charitable organisation. Through various projects and campaigns we explore the strengths of each volunteer and create a well-matched team which gives clients trust and confidence in what we do and how we do it. If you feel this service is what you need then please contact us for an initial consultation where we can discuss what the benefits will be for you.

When my own mental health was compromised it took me a long time to reach out for support. This was a combination of denial, lack of trust, and little confidence in services. From a professional perspective as a social worker, I could see that poor funding and long waiting lists extended the barriers already faced by vulnerable people. This has driven me to work with organisations that break down barriers and think outside the box. I hope that Three Little Birds gives you that sense of trust and confidence needed to reach out.

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Is life getting a little bit too much? Speaking to someone is the first step to making change. I am a Psychology graduate specialised in mental health and I want to offer you my knowledge to better understand and manage your emotions. Ultimately I want to provide you with a space where you feel comfortable to share your concerns. My interests are creative arts, boxsets, and travelling.

I completed my masters degree in Developmental Disorders at the University of Nottingham. Working in the field of mental health has always been my career passion, especially supporting children with mental health issues because I believe children deserve all the happiness in the world. I'm thankful for being able to join Three Little Birds because I get to work with a lot of amazing people to achieve the same goals with the same values. In my spare time, I like to play volleyball to stay fit.

What Our Volunteers Say

"It has given me great insight into the world of mental health and allowed me to work with a variety of different clients with a range of different and complex issues. The team dynamics and team culture gives me the confidence to take on tasks without fear or intimidation, knowing there is always someone available for support. I am grateful for the opportunity to help improve mental health and wellbeing in the community and raise awareness through some amazing insightful community projects."

I am a university student studying History. I have struggled with my own mental health and know how important it is for people to feel comfortable and able to access support. This is why I decided to volunteer for Three Little Birds. The team at Three Little Birds is amazing and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive change in the community. I hope that Three Little Birds can make a difference to you.

I am currently studying Psychology at University and I want to use my knowledge to help other people in any way I can. Mental health has always been very close to me personally as I know lots of people who have suffered and I believe everyone should be able to access support and understanding for any issue big or small. In my spare time I play rugby and exercise to stay fit. I am also interested in travelling. I am glad to join Three Little Birds and be part of a team who wants to helps people and who share the same goals.
